Mark your calendars for the 2011 AZCEC/AZCASE Annual Conference to be held at the Black Canyon Conference Center on March 4, 2011.

Back by popular demand, the Keynote Speaker will be Lindsey Jones, Esq. This conference will focus on providing up-to-date information on Special Education Law and state and national trends.

The next AZCEC/AZCASE Joint Board Meeting is scheduled for July 24th, at 1:00 pm at Chandler High School.

Just North of Chandler Blvd. on the West side of Arizona Ave is the Chandler Center for the Arts and CHS.
Park in the lot next to the CCA which is considered the CHS visitors' parking lot. We will meet in the front 'lobby' right there.

Innovation Pays Off . . . Apply for PIP Grant

What is PIP?
A $250 grant from Arizona CEC to Promote Innovative Practices.

Four $250 mini-grants are available to AZ-CEC members to promote innovative practices, which are designed to enhance the learning of exceptional students and demonstrate best educational practices. Funds may be used for supplies, instructional aids, equipment or services for an individual or group. Grants cannot be used to pay for anything that normally would be paid for by the district, agency and/or family.
